Men residing in the greater Lakeway area are welcome to attend the Lakeway Men's Breakfast Club for a $1 Continental Breakfast starting at 7 a.m. then, starting at 8 a.m., stay to hear Earl Foster, General Manager of LMUD, discuss the history of water services in Lakeway and plans for the future. It will prove to be an eye-opening insight into what it takes to manage the water and wastewater services that are so vital to our community.
2020 marks LMUD's 48th year of service to the Lakeway community. We are honored to be recognized this year by the City as a historically significant entity with the installation of a Lakeway Historical Marker at our district office. We welcome all Lakeway residents to stop by anytime throughout the year, starting February 13th, to view and read the commemorative plaque as well as meet our staff during regular business hours.
Join LMUD during the annual Fix a Leak Week. Easy-to-fix water leaks account for nearly 1 trillion gallons of water wasted each year in U.S. homes, according to the EPA. Learn how to spot leaks, shut off your water during major leaks, fix some leaks, and when to call a professional plumber. We’ll also cover how we handle water meter profiles and leak adjustments. This session will cover indoor water leaks only.
