Board Approves Moving to 1-Day Irrigation Starting September 1

During the August 10, 2022 Board of Directors meeting, the Lakeway Municipal Utility District (LMUD) Board passed a resolution to move customers from a two-day to one-day per week irrigation schedule starting September 1, 2022. This effort is in response to ongoing drought to help further limit water use. LMUD customers are asked to follow the new schedule which assigns an irrigation day based on the last digit of their address. No irrigation should take place between 10:00AM and 7:00PM. These water restrictions affect irrigation schedules pertaining to outdoor use of an in-ground/automatic irrigation system or hose-end sprinkle.
