A plumber or homeowner will be issued a plumbing permit once they submit a Complete Application for Plumbing Permit. Once your permit is paid, you will receive an email with a Receipt Number. This will be your plumbing permit number. You are required to visibly keep this receipt posted as your permit while work is being done at the job site and reference the permit number when calling in for an inspection.
Inspections can be requested by filling out the inspections request form at www.ioinspections.com.
Permits are valid for one year from the receipt date. Extensions beyond this date may require an additional fee. Failed or additional inspections will require an additional fee. The customer is responsible for the payment of any fees associated with obtaining a passed final inspection before covering or enclosing the Connection(s). Please see the LMUD Rate Order for details. Installation guidelines can be found at www.lakewaymud.org under “Resources”.
