General Notice
The Lakeway Municipal Utility District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
S-5 Water Recycling Plant
Expansion Project

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Lakeway Municipal Utility District office located at 1097 Lohmans Crossing, Lakeway, TX 78734, until January 24, 2024 at 2 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:
Expansion of the treatment capacity for the S-5 Water Recycling Plant (WRP) includes construction of influent flow splitter box; a second circular treatment unit with chambers for aeration, digestion, and clarification; a new air blower; modifications to an existing circular treatment unit; a new package filter; associated support and walkway structures; interconnecting piping and pumps; instruments; and power distribution.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: S-5 Water Recycling Plant Expansion
Engineer’s estimate for the Project is $8.5 M. The Project has an expected duration of 400 calendar days.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained from the Owner only as described below. Requests for Bidding Documents shall be made via email only to the Owner’s project representative:

The Owner will maintain a list of registered Bidding Documents holders and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, Addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be communicated to only registered Bidding Documents holders via email by the Owner’s project representative. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Owner.

Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on January 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Lakeway MUD’s office at 1097 Lohmans Crossing, Lakeway, TX 78734. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory for a bidder to submit a bid.
